very good
nicely drawn comic, and perhaps it would've catched better reviews and scores if you animated it. anyways, you still get the idea of whats going on. thanks for this, it cheered me up a bit at this lousy day
Hunters - Stage 5
Rated 3.5 / 5 stars April 9, 2011
keeps gathering tension
this was a bit annoying stage, from the level and the music itself. octahedron theme sounds like some japanese bubblegumpop. other soundtracks are as annoying. a big minus.
the game stuck in some parts with me, but i'm used with that when playing hunters -series.
now i gotta ask some questions: why every spaceship, enemy and ally, looks the goddamn same? avior, cpt. and hero (still dont remember her name) has same goddamn ships, though avior's and captain's have longer wings. in fact mizar's ship is same also. as for enemy ships, there are little different details but that doesn't cover your lack of imagination, which can be seen from other enemies and from characters. same design rolled over and over. it gets kinda numb. why hunters are humans instead of supermutated alien species for example? or if aliens are not good, then why the hunters share only two to three kinds of moving and attacking styles? great minus. c'mon, you can and must use your imagination while doing these games!!
story however seems to gather tension. our hero got caught by mizar, and is captured by the hunters now. stage 6 will be of handling them and their base -no doubt. mizar must be the final boss -no doubt, as i can suspect from your all-revealing trailer.
warning: speculation of future events
our hero has three orbs. mizar steals them and uses their power to become uberpowerful beast to kick everyone's ass. ofc hero stops mizar before she gets too powerful. one thing bothers me: in trailer, we see mizar-like floating man. if that is your uberpowerful beast you offer me, no thanks.
we can no more change the upcoming, so we just wait. you won't be even responding in these messages, so it gives the feel you just don't give a f**k about who thinks what of your games. i offer you criticism here, but you pass. too bad, criticism can be constructive, and make the game even better.
Hunters - Stage 4
Rated 5 / 5 stars April 7, 2011
yay, another hunters episode!
waiting for the game to start, so i'll pre-write here. as i can see, there's a ninja on the screen. they're at some jungle planet where's the third orb. jungle, temple and an eternal ninja guard guarding an artifact of unimaginable power. what else is new? well it's loaded, so we'll see what the game offers..
*playing*
this was, compared to the others, good and relaxing, though it stuck in few parts. nothing too special about this one, but if we go to the thing how real it gets, i gotta say: how the hell did our hero breathe underwater? at least you could've made there diving gear, wouldn't been so big job.
another standoff with hunters. it's like every stage ends with a s**tload of hunters getting their asses kicked by player. doesn't make much sense. mizar, the leader still rages when she sees the hero and meaninglessly doing everything to destroy her. well, at least it's different from earlier stages, because it was completely same in earlier stages, without motivation. this time she seems like she has some, and it doesn't actually matter to player anymore. hell, she's always like that.
well, our heroes now have all three orbs, so what now? getting captured by giant hunter ship, trying but failing in getting them to safety, or avior betraying our hero in the tightest of moments and taking all orbs for his own good?
this part was good as it left many questions unanswered.

if you're gona do more of these, how about adding a manual play button, so i watch it when i press the play button?
you could also do a longer flash. you have the ability to do flashes, so take your time and give us a magnificent new flash series or a game, or just a plain movie, that ppl like. i'm waiting.

whoa
that soundtrack behind this pixel art is awesome! what is it, and where is it from, or have you made it by yourself?
this animation is good, but it leaves everything open. sequels are a must.
by the way, i didn't notice anything what would be the "pixel moon". you'd better make that one clear.
Soundtrack is from Silent Hill 2. Cant remember the song name, but I can have a
look at if and tell you the song name tomorrow.
Also this is my very old cartoon. So I am thinking of changing name of it.

alright
these are the most annoying fails you get in minecraft, but they are also easy to avoid, if you are careful. here's how to avoid all of 'em.
1. obsidian fail: don't rush, because you know it's gona take forever to undo a mistake
2. diamond fail: before scavenging the diamond, mine _all_ the blocks around it, to make sure it doesn't fall into lava, or the lava doesn'r tush in like in this flash. it wont vanish until you mine it.
3. press f3. f3 opens a scouter, which tells loads of useful information. the name scouter comes from it's mob-detecting ability. it shows the ID of every mob, no matter how much blocks there are between. this way you can examine the darkness before going there, and you'll be ready for the creepers or whatever there is ahead.
mediocre flash. you _could've_ done it better,m but if this was made in a rush or if this wasn't on top of your mind, it's ok.
